He’s not just any friend; He’s Jesus, the most extraordinary friend you could ever have. In John 15:13 (NIV), Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."
Jesus loves you so much that He gave His life for you!
Imagine having a friend who knows you inside out, is always there for you, and thinks you are exceptional. That's Jesus! Psalm 139:1 says, "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me."
Jesus knows everything about you and still thinks you are amazing!
Here's the best part: Jesus wants to be your Best Friend Forever. He won't ignore you. He's someone who wants to walk with you every day. Revelation 3:20 says, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."
Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart, ready to be your friend.
So, how do you become Jesus’s best friend?
It's simple. Just talk to Him like you talk to your best friend. Admit that you have done things that are wrong, things that hurt other people and make Jesus sad (sin). Remember that Jesus gave His life for you. Ask Him to be your Savior and invite Him to be friends.
