In the book of Revelation, the Apostle John describes a scene transcending time and space - the judgement at the Great White Throne. (Revelation 20:11-15). Picture it: a brilliant and magnificent throne before which the earth and the sky flee. Books are opened, and the dead —great and small— stand before God.

This solemn moment really will happen; and we will all face it. Revelation 20:12 (NIV) declares: "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books." The Book of Life contains the names of those who have trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation.

The vague and tenuous hope that God is too kind to punish the ungodly has become a deadly opiate for the consciences of millions.

The invitation extended to you is one of profound significance. Revelation 20:15 says: "Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire."Yet, there is hope! Through faith in Jesus, your name can be written in the Book of Life, securing eternal life with God.

Romans 10:9 assures us: "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Trusting in Jesus is the key to having your name written in the Book of Life, ensuring a future in God's eternal kingdom.
